Cover Design
An element of the anthology's theme that I'd zeroed-in on is its duality - it is about the freedom, hopes and aspirations that comes with the first blush of adulthood, and also about the sting of disappointments, regret and mistakes one makes during their first stumbles into that world.
The theme of gardening and plant life was used to visualize this idea. On the one hand, it's beautiful and satisfying to see life flourish before your eyes, but it takes time and care to reach that stage - its the dirt under your nails, the splinters under your skin, the blisters and cuts on your hand. And yet, its precisely the grit that makes the growth meaningful.
